Securing the survival of the koala for Australia
Koala Life (formerly The International Koala Centre of Excellence) was first established in 2018 to support research into koala management and conservation.
We’ve come a long way in a short time and brought together leading advocates and researchers and have established strong partnerships and research projects.
We have developed a strong, coordinated strategy to achieve our purpose and vision:

- Understanding and protecting habitat
- Understanding how koalas live with people
- Being the voice of survival science.
Without a collaborative survival strategy, supported by the best science and research, koalas could disappear within our lifetime.
