Koala Life has been featured in a segment on NHK World Japan detailing the efforts of local people to protect Australia's indigenous wildlife. Dr. Ian Hough tells the story of the evacuation of koalas from Kangaroo Island that form the basis of Koala Life's conservation breeding colony, following the 2019-20 bushfires.
