Join Phil and Trish Liggett’s Freedom To Roam Adventures on a new Australian fundraising venture based in the Adelaide Hills, South Australia
Join them for a wild ride or two in the Adelaide Hills!
We’d love you to join us, Phil Liggett MBE, (widely known as the Voice of Cycling), Hon. Australian of the Year (2018), Hon. Doctorate of University of South Australia (2019) and Trish Liggett OLY and Founder of Freedom To Roam Adventures in our new Australian fundraising venture based in the Adelaide Hills, South Australia in 2024 at either Monarto Safari Park or Koala Life, Cleland Wildlife Park.
These two events – both two nights and three days, will ‘top and tail’ the famous international UCI world ranking cycle race, the Santos Tour Down Under.
Event 1
The first event will be based within the grounds of Monarto Safari Park. You will stay at the new safari resort within the park’s new Wild Africa precinct. The accommodation has stunning views over waterholes and the Monarto plains.
Event 2
The second event will be based at the beautiful Mount Lofty Hotel in the Adelaide Hills, just a few kilometres from Cleland Wildlife Park, the home of disease-free Koala and their young, the female, breeding age koalas, rescued from Kangaroo Island in the devastating fires of 2019/20. Young, and many with burn injuries are now thriving, and ready to form the base of the next generation.
